What is AwesomWasm?

AwesomWasm is the first Cosmos conference and hackathon that celebrates the power and potential of CosmWasm. Held in the magical city of Berlin, Germany, the event brings together the Cosmos community to explore, learn, and collaborate. Organized by Confio GmbH, AwesomWasm offers a unique platform for attendees to dive deep into the world of CosmWasm, whether they are developers, entrepreneurs, or simply enthusiasts.

From thought-provoking discussions to hands-on workshops, participants have the opportunity to engage with the latest advancements, foster new connections, and unleash their creativity during the hackathon.

AwesomWasm unites the collective passion and dedication of the Cosmos ecosystem, serving as a catalyst for innovation, propelling the growth and widespread adoption of web3 technologies.

Event Highlights

As the leading Indexer in Tendermint based networks with deep support for the Wasm smart contract layer, our COO, James Bayly, and our Technology Evangelist, Marta Adamczyk, were thrilled to engage with the Cosmos community, exchange ideas, and showcase the importance of fast and flexible data indexing within the ecosystem.

James also hosted a workshop on "Developing better dApps faster with data indexing", where he demonstrated the critical role of choosing the right data indexer for building next-gen dApps on Cosmos and its significance in optimizing and monitoring CosmWasm smart contracts.

Conclusion
