Developers Can Access Free RPCs on the SubQuery Network

Calling all developers who love free infrastructure! The SubQuery Network and its loyal army of node runners are at your service. As of right now, the SubQuery Network is offering free, yes FREE, remote procedure calls (RPCs) for major EVM chains including Base, Arbitrum, BNB, and the recently added Substrate endpoints. What’s more, these RPCs are completely decentralised unlike most RPC providers which are still largely centralised and controlled by big institutions, the antithesis of what web3 stands for.

You can browse through the chains included in the SubQuery Networks’ RPC offering here: https://rpc.subquery.network/

Typically, accessing reliable and scalable RPC services has been a challenge for many developers, often requiring significant investment in infrastructure or reliance on costly third-party services. SubQuery's offering of free RPC endpoints aims to eliminate these barriers, making blockchain development more accessible and cost-effective.

The SubQuery Network is already processing 10s of millions of RPC requests each day and this will only increase from here. To access the free endpoint, simply locate the endpoint of your choosing on our dashboard and select ‘Get Endpoint’. A modal will pop up with the HTTP endpoint (and WebSocket endpoint if applicable) as well as an example curl request for you to try in your terminal.

“Part of SubQuery’s mission to decentralise the future is to give all developers access to critical infrastructure worldwide. We’re offering these free endpoints to support innovation and eliminate barriers so builders can create the next generation of web3 applications.”

– Sam Zou, CEO at SubQuery

The free endpoints will be sufficient for developer testing of their dApps however for the enterprise-level applications, you can also access decentralised RPCs without any rate limitations to boost your dApp’s performance. Head over to the SubQuery Network Explorer to purchase a plan for your endpoint from our network of globally distributed experienced Node Operators. We have a step-by-step article on this here.
